You need to buy a PCMCIA network card (less than five Euro on ebay), the drivers are available here:
http://aminet.net/package/driver/net/3c589 http://aminet.net/package/driver/net/cnetdevice
I wouldn't recommend a wireless card, because using that would basically require you to run your WLAN without any real encryption.
If you don't have OS 3.9, you'll also need a TCP stack. This one's for free, but you might need to ask for help for setting it up:
http://aminet.net/package/comm/net/AmiTCP-bin-30b2
Commercial options would be Roadshow (25 Euro), 2nd hand OS 3.9 (15 Euro) or Amigakit's Easynet package (38 Euro, but that includes the network card).
(Edit: forgot to mention that Amigakit's price includes the network card) Last edited by cgutjahr on 04-Jul-2015 at 04:22 PM.

Our Wireless Cards support WPA-TKIP (EasyNet software supports WPA-PSK also) and have extra items not found anywhere else on the Classic Amiga such as the Wireless Scanning:
Every EasyNet wireless kit sold from AmigaKit results in the authors of the network driver being given a royalty payment. So when you buy a network card from AmigaKit, you are support developers such as NSDi and Neil Cafferkey. Last edited by amigakit on 04-Jul-2015 at 03:13 PM. That's the "EasyNet" software, a collection of tools that is supposed to assist you when setting up your network connection. |

All the solutions that Cgutjahr has mentioned involves script and CLI based setup which is difficult for a new user to get to grips with. They have no user interface.
We created EasyNet which is a complete Workbench based package (with nice GUI) which lets you go online, configure the network, scan wireless networks, setup/edit and ping hosts amongst many other things.
We also support Amiga developers with sales from the EasyNet package by providing donations for the work they have done. This is something we consider is important in our small Amiga community. _________________ Amiga Kit Amiga Store Links: www.amigakit.com | New Products | A600GS |

TKIP was meant as quick interim solution when it became clear that WEP was broken by design. TKIP has since also been proven broken, and is highly deprecated. But WPA2 requires hardware support, which I think never materialized on 16bit PCMCIA cards, and even only a few 32bit CardBus cards. I have seen newer APs that only support WPA2, and many wifi-spots are also configured to only support WPA2. Also 802.11b support is dwindeling, keeping Amiga computers online is becoming harder and harder.
(Myself, I use 802.1X authentication on my wireless LAN - "WPA2 Enterprise" - for which there is no solution for any amigoid systems) _________________ B5D6A1D019D5D45BCC56F4782AC220D8B3E2A6CC |

To be honest, when I first tried EasyNet several years ago, I found it very difficult to get to work, and got little assistance from AmigaKit. I eventually gave up and went with Miami.
My A1200 didn't go online for a number of years after that (I had a ethernet card not wireless and as it wasn't in the same router, connection was a hassle), but in January I got a wifi dongle, and actually managed to get EasyNet to work.
Newer versions might be more friendly.

WPA2 and AES-CCMP can be done in software, as long as the wireless card's firmware is flexible enough to allow software encryption. This is the case for true Prism-II/2.5 cards with Intersil firmware, but not for Agere-firmware cards (e.g. Orinoco). |

I bought a network bundle from AmiKit, wired version, with EasyNet. It works as it should and I was very happy to get my Amiga 1200 on the network. Last time it happened I was using a 56K modem.
