I want to buy a new joypad for my Amiga One X5000 but I am not sure which would be OK or work.

My red and black Maverick one gives me problems after that my father tried to open it,when you press a button on AmigaInput it flashes and same occurs on the FPSE Playstation when you try to put some button on a game.

So yeah what joypads are compatible and recommended for my Amiga One X5000?

Thank you and good luck with your projects

It's an expensive option but Sony Playstation Dual Shock 4 V2 works over USB on my X1000. You need to buy a USB cable separately but it uses the same cable as Samsung phones, the Kindle etc.

The original Dual Shock 4 won't work since it only uses the USB cable for charging and will only work via Bluetooth which we don't have.

make sure you get a Joypad which supports Direct input or at least allows you to swap from X-input to D-input. They will often have a switch on the bottom of the joypad

I use a Xeox Pro analog sl-6656-BK joypad which is Xbox style

I also use depending on the game a Logitech F-310 joypad which is a PS3 style pad.

Xbox 360 controllers wont work with Amigainput as they are X-input devices

@outrun1978

I readed all your posts but I am searching to one reliable,strong,quality PSX style joypad one.

Something like the quality my X5000 deserves.

I have another PS3 style joypad connected but it only works with the hats not with the crux.If I remember I played M.A.C.E. with it in the recent past

Any ideas? What's best for my Amiga One? Can I use Wheel Driving USB controllers?

Help will be much appreciated

I have this PS3 style joypad and is always on like with the Select or Start button On but when I hit the Select or Start buttons it doesn't do nothing to the red light.

So is a way to turn off the light or may I selol somewhere?

On my ACER PC Laptpop it occured the same as on my Amiga One X5000.

Can I really use this joypad? It's a NGS one.

I use a Logitech RumblePad 2 on my A1 (and my PC). It works very well with all inputs detected by AmigaInput and has digital/analogue modes for swapping the D-pad and left stick. It doesn't seem to be available any more, but apparently the Logitech F310 is the replacement, and apparently works without generic drivers so should work fine on OS4 too.

Edit: I should add, it's the corded version I have, not the cordless.

@Daedalus

With the various gamepads you give me here I am a bit confused less decided yet

Can anyone who has Amiga One X-5000 point me to to the definitive trustful Amiga joypad?

I am very in doubts yet
