Sounds like some teething troubles with Amistore handling upgrades. Hopefully that'll be fixed soon.

Short answer: yes. This following snippet from the news item says so:
"The Enhancer Software contains the debut pre-release version of Warp3D Nova and there will be free updates for Enhancer Software users as Nova gets updated over the coming months."

Warp3D Nova drivers only support Radeon cards that feature the Southern Islands chips. A-EON will not be doing drivers for older cards but third party drivers are possible but it's highly unlikely that someone will write Nova drivers for R100 and R200 based Radeon cards.

The Enhancer Software is a lot more than just Warp3D Nova and RadeonHD.

It represents many months of hard work for new apps, commodities, gadgets and classes. We are hoping this will form the foundation for ongoing, sustainable development. We are already working on new ideas to add to the Enhancer Software over the next few months. This will depend on the uptake of the product.

Can confirm the discounted price appears in the bag, but unable to purchase it as the certificate used by your web server is being rejected by odyssey. I have tried multiple times, each time with the same error in Odyssey.

Thought you should know since I am unable to purchase it.

Can somebody post a price for the two versions of the package please? I'd also appreciate information on upgrade pricing, but that doesn't seem to work yet.

The problem is that some software should be part of the OS, like InfoWindow class, Optionbutton gadget class, PieChart gadget class, ProgressBar gadget class, SharedImage class, SimpleHTML Datatype.
Why because it will not be available for Amigans who don't have purchased the enhanced CD, this mean that applcation development would be even more fragmented.
Even maybe SFS2 and Ringhio. (for support, and also development, seeing that it's not part of the OS, the OS will not use this new Ringhio facilities)
Since Warp3D Nova is also not part of the OS, the OS will not use it for fancy stuff for example.

I understand your concerns but do not worry.

Going forward, we also will be making support for the new classes in every new A-EON or AmigaDeveloper.com Team project wherever practicable.

Some of the classes we have already exist for OS3 version of the Enhancer Software and we will be cross porting them for third party developers to bundle with their software under licence.

We have been working closely with many developers over the last year to help and assist for support with the new classes and libraries. We are looking forward to expanding the developer base from this initial release.

TuneNet Arexx support and localisation are two things which will be in the next update (Enhancer Software V1 Update 1).

Three devs worked on TuneNet and took it to different stages of development. As it stands now the code is much cleaner, compiles under the latest SDK and has Final Edition UI support.

There are a lot more ideas we want to implement, we found it was too "addictive" to add new features and perpetually delaying the public release as a consequence. The Update 1 will of course be free to all users who have purchased Enhancer Software v1.0, so look out for that announcement once you have bought the software.

It's working now but for some reason when it checks for previous versions it first says 1 previous version found before scanning again, saying no previous version found and saying that the it's not eligible for discount.
In the shopping bag the discount appears to have been applied but you may want to confirm the prices I've written in my reply to cgutjahr.

Obviously a little fine tuning needs to be made so that the correct messages are displayed but otherwise it would appear to work fine.

It would also be nice if Amistore calculated and included the processing fee and add that to the total in the shopping bag.

I hope this is comprehensive enough for you.

The standard version is £39.50 and the plus is £48.

When I log in it includes the 20% UK tax so the standard is £47.40 and the plus is £57.60

I have both the RadeonHD V1 and V2 drivers but not Candy.

If I add them to my bag the total for the standard is £39.78 and the plus is £49.98 so the discount price on the Radeon HD driver is £7.62 for both.

When you go to checkout with Paypal, as you know, fees are added so I've provided breakdown as displayed in the web browser.

Standard
£33.15 Price before fee.
£1.85 Processing fee.
£35 Sub Total.
£7 VAT.
£42 Total with VAT.

Plus
£41.65 Price before fee.
£2.25 Processing fee.
£43.9 Sub total.
£8.78 VAT.
