I have also such a soundcard.

I think that it is the minimum spec of the AmigaOne
for a soundcard, so i hope it will be no problem.

Hey, look at that: "microA1 onboard audio", i did not see it the first reading, but then again i did not look at it very carefully, being just a boring list of sound cards.

Hey guys,

A driver for SB128 is under way (not by me though). The AC97 won't work.
The microA1 onboard audio is a CMI8738. I wrote a driver for that chip, but so
far it is untested, but will be tested soon. I've got one more driver underway,
but it's for a pro (read expensive) card.

That form is a serious pain. Since you can easily allocate too much percentage in one area and even insert more than 100% total, I'm not going to give myself a headache by doing the arithmetic required to fill it in.

All:

If you have requested CAM access as an Earlybird owner, please login to the site. I have been VERY busy and haven't replied to all requests even if I have enabled your access.

For those who requested but don't yet have access, hang tight. I have a huge email backlog running at present.

@soft

You don't have to do the math. If you enter weights and press the submit button, the total will be displayed at the top of the form when it updates.

I agree that it takes some time, an autosum feature would have helped, but still requiered time and number shifting. I just put a number on each place i wanted an input on and worked my way to 100.

EDIT: Ooops very nice HMetal

Go ahead. If you err, it will shoot your list back to you (In the order of your preferences and give you the total you came up with. Then, you can fix in the edit (Shave a point here, add a point there) and you're done. I rated streaming video EXTREMELY high, as it's something Amiga doesn't really do yet (most stuff requiring REAL, FLASH, or WMP.) What's with "Searching?" Is that really a hassle for anyone? And what would Amiga plan to do about it?

For me, too many options. Simplify the form. "Searching," among others, wasn't needeed.

@Step

Thanks. I would have used Javascript and had it update dynamically but we all know the problem with that and Amiga browsers.

@HMetal: Even so, its hard to figure out how much to put in each section. The precision is too high. If I think something is moderately important do I put 5%, 8% or 10% ? I have no idea! And that's the problem I have with the form. Also it doesn't specify what is meant by importance, i.e. whether it is important to the person filling in the form, or important for all users in general...

@soft

Well, I didn't create the scale. It was dictated.

As for importance.. I don't think we'd expect you to be a mind-reader and speak for all of mankind.

Sarcasm and razzing aside, we're just looking for what you, as an individual, find important in a total solution.

@HMetal: Also, you said it displays the total when I press the submit button, but isn't the submit button what I press when I want to ultimately SUBMIT the data, not refresh it? In otherwords, I'd be submitting an incomplete form?

@HMetal: Er, another thing, if I enter zeros when I refresh the page, the zeros are gone and the data I've entered is all shifted up, meaning I have to re-enter it all over again. Can you change this, perhaps by preventing zeros from being entered or making zero a valid percentage?
