Software News   Software News : New website for AROS fans now open
posted by Holley on 28-Oct-2004 11:34:22 (2043 reads)
Fancy trying out all the neat features of AROS? The new edition of AROS-Max can now be downloaded from it's new home www.AROS-Max.co.uk

AROS Max is a live bootable CD image thats pre-configured and stuffed full of the best demos, games, and developer tools that are avaiable in Native Mode AROS today.

It's also handy as a one-stop-shop for anyone wanting to install AROS to harddisk, without having to download extra programs you might want to use.

More will be added to the site in time, including a FAQ for beginners, extra backing pics, and pointers to other sources of AROS-Max - so stay tuned!

A facelift to www.AROS.org is in the works (early days yet!) - for up to date AROS news please check www.AROS-Exec.org

The last major update was a little over a month ago when AHI compatable sound was added, the next release of AROS-Max should include several sound-related improvements
