AmigaKit.com acquires Eyetech Classic Amiga Stock

We are pleased to announce that we have acquired the entirety of Eyetech Ltd's remaining Classic Amiga stock.

Please bear with us whilst we integrate the stock with our existing product database. In the meantime, if you have a specific request for an item you cannot see on www.amigakit.com, please get in contact.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Alan Redhouse and Eyetech for the contribution to the Classic Amiga market over many years.

Cool!

Any chance you could contact PowerComputing to get hold of their stock? (If they still have it)

Wow, congratulations.
Looks like eyetech's main site is just redirecting to Amigakit too - will you be hosting the FAQs and information formerly on the Eyetech website, or if you acquired that too will you be allowing, eg BBOAH and/or amiga.roesource.cx to host it?

A painful reminder this is a ever shrinking market at the moment.

Atleast now we have Amigakit and we couldnt ask for better.

More important that ever to support this buissness so it dosn't meet the same fate!

I know Alan has invested a lot of money in the Amiga scene. Especially with the AmigaOne development & I seem to remember that there was a lot was his personal funds used in the project.

I just wanna take this opportunity to thank Alan & the Eyetech crew for everything (And I mean that typing from my A1 here) & I hope this move will go someway to filling any holes.

IF however, I am all over the place & this has nothing to do with money, I still wanna thank Eyetech for everything

FuZion.

I bought H/W from them as recently as Xmas and they fitted my Mediator, etc in early 2005. I know they have since changed their Website, but if they still have the stock, I'm sure they will help you.

@ Amigakit

Some nice pack of cdroms that is not in my collection for a good price and i am satisfied... Ofcours using an Eyetech A1200 tower as the box to send them in is ok for me.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Alan and Eyetech for my AmigaOne and everything they have done for the Amiga in the past.

Well done Mathew, it has gone to a good home, I hope you do well with selling it to Amigans who want/need it

@Darth_X :
That's an easy one, it was Eyetech who paid them to keep with the stock, following the 'it would be better to give $500 away then was to sell the AmigaOne' kind of logic

If you are really queen on those, look no further... there's lot's of them on the Power.org, the Future, etc thread... full of off-topic remarks, hanger and all that is needed for a good pop corn session

Altough this is more a 'tongue in the cheek' kind of post...
