| OK - back from a long hiatus; I can't resist posting in response to this news article :)
If I was to buy a version of OS4.0 from ACube, would I receive something that will work only on "Classic" PPC hardware (which I've sold) or will it work on classic AND new hardware?
I'd love to chip in to buy a copy now to show support, even though I don't have the necessary hardware (unless a Mac mini counts? Please?) although I'd like to think that what I'm buying will at least be usable in the future, when I get around to buying a new Amiga PPC system...

This version is for Classics only. It only contains a kernel that works on classic machines, and only contains drivers for classic machines.

While classic sales wont "save the platform", it should noticeably liven up the OS4 scene online, as we've only got 1000 users or so anyway! |

There's a slight error in the press release.
It states that there will be a compatibility list at A^3's page, but that is already up since a week back.
Just thought I'd let people know.
