software OS4   software OS4 : WarpView 1.06 Released!
   posted by COBRA on 9-Feb-2014 19:21:19 (2888 reads)
WarpView 1.06 has just been released and includes some bug fixes and cool new features. Finally there are proper image intensity adjustments (Brightness, Contrast, Gamma) and a new scaling method that gives very nice sharp results when scaling down your digital photos for publishing on the web, and more... See the WarpView Webpage for more details.

Thanks for the update. Will install it once I get the chance. The date on the news page seems to have gone a little skewiff.

Thank you for this update, and as others said, it's Nice to see you back on this forum!
Png format doesn't preserve alpha channel when saving modified picture, maybe for an other update? This new resizing method is really nice :)
I hope for composition support on next version too.

Regards,
Petrol.

Thanks for the update!

While the Warp3D Driver for RadeonHD-Cards is being prepared, is it possible to use the Compositing Engine in the meantime for Zoom/Rotate/Scale-Function in WarpView to speed up the operations a lot?

Thanks for the update. Can we use our private key with the new version or we have to install the free key from now on?

@Fingus

Use WaZp3D, it works like a charm with WarpView (and makes use of compositing).

@Phantom

You can use your personal key of course, but it won't change anything (except seeing your name in the About window).

@fingus

Compositing should work well for something like WarpView. Or you can use Wazp3D... ;)

@COBRA
Thanks for the update to WarpView.

It was one of the first OS4 programs I registered and still feel it was money well spent even if it is now free for everyone as its still my jpeg viewer of choice under OS4

Thanks for the update. It would be helpful to have a menu item for switching back to Workbench screen. On my X1000, WarpView only works correctly on a 32 bit screen. 16 bit screens just show an image in 3 colors with pixel-wide stripes and 8 bit screens show nothing at all. Maybe it's just an X1000 problem since I seem to remember 16 bit screens working on my SAM. I also get a GrimReaper if I try to switch to Warp3d display but that's probably a Warp3d issue.

Wow, nice to see an update
but ....... in the info window ISO speed report the information of Orientation,
so ISO speed it's not reported, this only with two of my Pentax cameras,
with other cameras it work well, if you need some example images, let me know
