Is it a monthly/annual fee or a definitive price ?

Hi,

1) It is 5€ "definitive" for the client. There is no monthly fee or annual fee.
With the client you get access to a personal storage (basic account).

If you buy it for AmigaOS 4 you can install it on as many OS4 powered computers you like.
If you wan't to install it on Windows, you would need to buy the Windows client as well.
Again.. if you buy the Windows Client, you can install it on as many Windows machines you like.

2) Nope.. because there is no subscription, just a onetime fee for the client, we don't offer a test.

We are still in beta and we offer as a "thank you" the following deal:
If you take the pill and buy it during beta you will get later (after beta) twice the amount of what later customers will get.
So if next year the standard storage will be 2GB, all beta testers will get 2x2GB... if it is 5GB at some point, beta tester will get 2x5GB... and so on.

3. You just choose a drawer on your computer to be synched.
If you add files (drag and drop in Workbench) this file will be uploaded to the cloud.
If some of your other computers add a file to a synch folder, this file will be uploaded to the cloud and downloaded on all the other machines..
So the sync folder on all machines will have always the same content.

In case you delete something, the other computer will open a requester with several options:
1. Delete the local copy as well
2. Keep the local copy
3. Upload the local copy to the cloud (in case it was deleted accidentally on the other machine)
4. Ignore this specific file in the future (it will not be synched anymore)

In the video i've posted above you can see the open drawer with the PNG Wallpaper i shared with AmiCloud via public URL so I could embed it here.

If i copy a file to this drawer it would be uploaded to the cloud.

I will start your appstore tomorrow to see if i am able to buy it (i have an account but i never bought something on your store, hoping that Paypal is supported).

Another question, where are located the data ? In your own garage or in an external data center ? In brief, do you have a pdf / webpage explaining more what is behind amicloud, the security, confidentiallity and location of data, etc.
But maybe that i missed explanations in one of your past threads, if yes sorry for the questions.

No the data is not stored in my house ; )
It is stored in a data-center with 24/7 IT support (for example if a harddrive or psu failes or something else).
The data center is located in Germany and German law is applied.
I don't scan files (unlike others) and I don't pass data to third parties in order to analyze content (unlike others). But if you share files publically, a report button is applied.. In case someone reports a file It will be checked and if it is illegal content all other files will be checked as well and if needed legal steps will be initiated.

About payment in my store:
We use indiecoins.
Those coins can be bought on www.ares-shop.de in form of gift cards or as code.
If you don't want to wait for post or manually send code you could use
www.indiego.rocks/buy but for now it is not translated (German invoice will be send via email with a paypal button on the top right which says "Jetzt zahlen = pay now" )

PayPal in the AppStore client will follow at some point.
