Not wanting to derail the derailment of the thread. but...

We all know Gary_C, he's like our own small disagreeable dwarf we keep locked in the closet, ( ). Just because he posted a bunch of questions from his point of view, no need to bang on at him. the thread was for questions not answers.

There are times to attack Gary_c's point of view and times not to. I say now is a time not to because you've derailed the thread.

One day I hope to see a thread Gary_c posts in which doesn't deteriorate.

See now if I was a moderator I'd move all the crap into a separate thread called, "Answers to questions not asked to Garry Hare at amiwest (yet maybe) from people who may or may not know what they are talking about", and keep the original thread just for questions.

Gary, whilst you often have something to contribute and are very articulate and clearly clever your actions on the forum do seem to confirm a poorly hidden agenda and double standards applied with what constitutes a fair allegation or opinion when applied to Genesi/Phoenix or KMOS.

You aren't interested in Amigas right now, aside from as a bystander, sure, thats no problem and certainly no reason to not come here, but you invest more energy on here than seems consistent with that viewpoint executing your personal agenda.

Its not just me that has noticed it, it seems.

I still don't give a flying fubar about KMOS, but others apparently do. It doesnt stop AmigaOS4 running on my AmigaONE, and it doesnt stop the great work that Hyperion and Eyetech are doing ( and yes, they are doing great work ).

As I explained earlier, I'm interested in Garry Hare responding to those questions at AmiWest, as the thread asked for; it isn't really necessary for other people to contribute their own responses here unless they feel the urge to share them. I'm not really interested in debating things that none of us here has all the information about (or can't speak about due to NDAs); we all know there's been way too much time wasted on that already.

The whole point of asking someone in a position to know, such as Mr. Hare, is to put to rest questions like mine. Anyway, I thought that was the spirit of the thread, to get answers from the person in charge. If you don't personally agree that my questions should be asked, that's your priviledge. You blame me for the "annoying interruption" with this tangent but all I did was post my questions. It looks to me like people decided on their own to be Garry Hare Mini-me's and answer in his place; I guess I am guilty of responding to their posts, but I tend to do that when a) people ask me direct questions or b) people say something that justifies a reply. Sorry if you were bothered by the content; I guess you could just skip on down the page without too much trouble.
