OnyxSoft releases a an update to MPlayer-GUI with better support for LiveForIt's MPlayer.
MPlayer-GUI v1.60 - (OS4) GUI for MPlayer for OS4.
- Finally fixed the control panel arexx commands for those video drivers that has proper arexx handling implemented. Please not that not all versions of MPlayer or every video driver supports arexx commands, but this works with LiveForIt MPlayer and the comp modes at the very least, maybe other modes and versions too.
- Realtime control panel sliders for seeking and volume. It doesn't seek only after you let go of the slider, like before. Note: Not all video drivers supports it.
- MPlayer-GUI now gets the available audio and video drivers from MPlayer itself to make sure only available drivers are presented in the GUI. It does this by executing "mplayer -vo help -ao help". Please report if your video or audio driver selection is empty!!
- Added wpa video driver to default video drivers.
- Time display in the control panel.
- Fixed the unfreed signals on exit.
If you see a bug or have a suggestion, please don't hesitate to drop me an e-mail!

!!! Attention. The raffle has ended. It is only the sake of completeness with the Newsletter !!!
Currently we have a raffle on the Amiga Future Website.
original message
Actually, we thought that the solution however is fairly simple. But so far, unfortunately, only wrong answers have been received.
But of course we want someone wins the prize. Our office is already full with posters ;)
That's why gvive you one small tip:
If you consider what's so special about the issue 118, you must keep in mind that the first issue of the Amiga Future did not start with number 1, the issue was number 11.

26.1.2016 ********* Amiga Future raffle finished
The raffle on the Amiga Future website is completed.
The poster package has won Stephan S. Congratulations!
The correct answer for the raffle was "The Amiga Future is 18 years old"
http://www.amigafuture.de
26.1.2016 ********* Amiga Future - is now 18 years old
As of January/February issue 118 of 2016, the Amiga Future magazine is 18 years old.
Quite a while for a printed magazine, surpassing old prophecies that Amiga Future would not survive more than a few months.
Now, after 18 years, we have set ourselves another goal, to noticeably increase the circulation numbers of Amiga Future. To this end, we will be announcing, throughout the year, various special deals & offers.
One of these deal announcements can be found in the Amiga Future Issue 118 on page 29.
However, until everything is finalised, we have provided some useful links with information about the Amiga Future for you.
Perhaps this has already convinced some users to take out a subscription for the Amiga Future. ;)
Have fun with it,
Andreas Magerl
