HGui: GUI ToolKit for Hollywood almost ready |
| Software News posted by Allanon on 22-Mar-2015 10:54:41 (8909 reads) |
Hello guys! After more then 4 years of development I'm really near to a release of the ScuiLib successor: HGui.
I'm posting this news to check out how much interest could be in a commercial release, and if there is enough interest I will start to write tutorials and a comprehensive developer guide for people who will decide to support this project. Writing docs is a big job because the library offer many features and documenting all the stuff supported will require a lot of work. Along with the docs and tutorials I will offer support through e-mail or through forum and of course bug fixing.

NetSurf 3.3 is primarily a bug-fix release. Several of the front ends have received quite a bit of attention, with new features and improvements; notably the AmigaOS frontend has gained the beginnings of support for AmigaOS 3. We recommend all users upgrade.
More information Download (AmigaOS 4)

Hi,
long time ago there was a native AROS Distribution called Broadway..... Now it is back at least as a sneak peek.
Broadway is a native distribution which was on hold because we worked (and still work) on some features which where not ready back then (if I remember correct that last update was in early 2013).
The preview snapshots will come roughly every 2-3 Month including always a new addition to the distro we are working on.

As many people have already noticed, the recently released Hollywood SDK comes with source codes for several example plugins. Among them are source codes for plugins that enable Hollywood to load PCX images and AIFF sound files. Due to popular demand Airsoft Softwair has now released these two plugins also as binaries for all platforms supported by Hollywood.
