Yesterday i finished beta 3 of AEROS for Pi (a AROS hosted distribution based on debain (for now)). Upload for registered users is slowly progressing - will be ready today or at latest tomorrow.

Announcement   Amiga Games (and our childhood memories) acquired for $500,000

Amiga Games Incorporated, and its library of over 300 titles, have been purchased for $500,000 by Writers' Group, a company that acquires and distributes digital content. The new owner is promising several announcements over the next few weeks, and hopefully one of them has to do with Overdrive.

From today, DigiBoosterPro 2.21 is available in the online shop of APC&TCP at a discounted price.

Of course DigiBoosterPro 2.21 will continue as usual to be available on CD.

Our next meeting of the Southern California Commodore & Amiga Network is Saturday, July 13, 2 to 4+ p.m.

The July 27-28 Commodore Vegas Expo will be the main topic of discussion. In hardware we'll be replacing power-robbing chips on a Plus/4 with cooler-running EPROMs, we'll be making the new VIC-VODER cartridge speak, we'll be checking out the programs on 8-Bit Designs' Multicart 64, and we'll be examining an A1200 '060 from the defunct AWest/CWest club of San Francisco. Software News   Hollywood 5.3 released & soon available again for purchase

Airsoft Softwair is happy to announce the immediate availability of Hollywood 5.3. Version 5.3 is a major update which includes several new features as well as important bug fixes. New functionality is introduced in the Android version which comes with a fully native Java-based GUI now, supports many new commands from the desktop versions and has hardware-accelerated scaling now. But also the desktop versions of Hollywood have improved with release 5.3. Here is a brief overview of new features in 5.3:

- major improvements in the Android version: Hollywood uses a native Java-based GUI now and supports many new commands from the desktop version now (new in v5.3 are support for requester functions, clipboard, running programs, etc.)
- intelligent new refresh technology that enhances performance on single-refresh based systems and with auto-scaled scripts

software OS4   New Qt 4.7 with WebKit support out!

Qt 4.7 (0.9.0) is finally here! The package includes support for webkit,
systrayicons, improved native rendering, and many other things (see readme
for full details).

Because of the size of the archive, Qt is no longer available from os4depot.

The English and German issue 103 (July/August 2013) of the print magazine Amiga Future has been distributed today, and can also be ordered directly from the editorial office of Amiga Future, and the other Amiga dealers that stock the magazine.

From from the issue 94 the Amiga Future magazines will be printed in full colour.
