FPSE - Free PlayStation Emulator |
| Software News posted by AmiDog on 14-Mar-2008 19:01:05 (5170 reads) |
This, the second maintenance release of 0.10 contains a few minor fixes and adds new ports for MorphOS and AROS (x86).
While the MorphOS port should be pretty well behaved, the AROS one still has some issues.
I'm looking for one or two betatesters for the AROS (x86) port. If you are an experienced AROS user, have some time to spare and some 10-20 PS1 games for testing, send a mail to fpse {dot} emu [at] amidog {dot} se.

Network File System implementation aNFS (f.k.a. ch_nfs) now GPL. Help needed! |
| Software News posted by Cyborg on 6-Mar-2008 8:32:12 (3315 reads) |
Original news by Jens Langer: I just want to let you all know that I have put the sources of the former ch_nfs NFS client (part of AmiTCP) from Carsten Heyl online in a new sourceforge.net project:
http://www.sf.net/projects/anfs
After the GPL release by Carsten in 2003, I unfortunately hadn't the time to setup the new project and try to compile the sources accordingly. Now the sources are online in a SVN repository and every interested developer is invited to contribute to the new public aNFS project. The current main task is to get the sources compiled/linked and running again.

Gary Gygax was one of the two people who created Dungeons & Dragons, the first best seller in Fantasy RPG.
Entire generations of people played his game!
D&D inspired the creations of dozens of videogames, starting from Atari 2600 and Intellivision consoles upto Amiga computers!
