Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe for OS4 |

While AW.net has been away the game OpenTTD (the Open Source version of the Microprose game Transport Tycoon Deluxe) has been released for OS4 on OS4Depot.
For those of you who have never heard of it before try this link to find out more.
Some files from the original packaged game are required for this version to run.

Leuven, Belgium - 2. February, 2005
Registered users of both AmigaOS 4.0 and Quake 2 can now find a first OS4-Native beta version of Quake 2 in Hyperion Entertainment's download area. Note that this version is restricted to software rendering but should otherwise be fully functional.

Annual meeting for the swedish Amiga usergroup ACG |

The swedish Amiga usergroup ACG will have its annual meeting the 12th of February 19.00.
There will also be an AmigaOne with AmigaOS4 Developer prerelease there for the attenders to try AmigaOS4 out. So if you live near the venue please show us your support and attend this meeting!

English AmigaSYS Web Site launched and v1.7 announced |

A new official English languaged AmigaSYS web site has been launched and version 1.7 of AmigaSYS has been announced for the coming week.
AmigaSys is the hardfile for WinUAE. Pre-installed freeware programs and must have utilities. (You'll need the original Workbench 3.x disks and ROM for installation) The system is ready to go when installed. SSL support is one of the new features in version 1.7.

A new version of vbcc has been released.
"vbcc is a highly optimizing portable and retargetable ISO C compiler. It supports ISO C according to ISO/IEC 9899:1989 and a subset of the new standard ISO/IEC 9899:1999 (C99)."
