The number of web defacements has leapt up since the US-led war against Iraq began.

According to security firm F-Secure, more than 1,000 sites have been hacked in direct relation to the Iraq conflict.

In an email sent to the popular Amiga website amiga-news.de, Lars Fuhrken-Batista of Cinemaware made the following statement regarding their problems with Amiga games developer Clickboom: "At this point Cinemaware would just like to make a simple statement that clickBoom's allegations are false and misleading, and that we will issue an official statement in the future regarding this matter."

Announcement   Individual Computers to attend AmiGBG, Delfina in Production

Individual Computers has announced that they will attend the upcoming AmiGBG show for the first time as an exhibitor. This event will be held on march 29th in Gothenburg, Sweden. Also the soundcard Delfina "Flipper Edition" is announced to be in production.

Hardware News   Console Wars Take Their Toll

Those that like to keep a console kicking about in addition to their other hardware should take note of Nintendo's apparent misfortune. High street stores are now cutting prices on the GameCube in an attempt to clear stocks. First Dixons and now, it seems, Argos have joined in kissing goodbye to this machine. If you don't mind a limited stock of titles, you could pick up a bargain!
