software Classic   New AmiKit X with AmigaOS 3.1.4 support!
software Classic posted by AmiKit on 19-Oct-2018 9:05:14 (1063 reads)
We worked really hard to bring AmigaOS 3.1.4 support to AmiKit. And we were successful! You're going to love how easy we made it for you. Now you can install the new AmigaOS with a single click!

We've also made a few tweaks and a bit of fine-tuning to make AmiKit even better and easier to use. On top of that, it boots even faster now!

This free maintenance update fixes many bugs too.

News   Amiga Future subscription bonus
News posted by AndreasM on 15-Oct-2018 13:37:49 (1207 reads)
The Amiga Future Print edition has turned 20 with the number 130.

20 years, a long time. Many did not even trust us for one year.
And now the Amiga Future is the longest published Amiga Print magazine worldwide.

Of course we want to celebrate this. Not just once in January. We want to celebrate all year long.

Look forward to many webpage updates, promotions and various subscription bonuses. Also we will be present at different fairs.

News posted by amigakit on 7-Oct-2018 15:38:04 (2181 reads)
Amiga Developer Team at Amiwest Dev Con 2018

We are pleased to confirm that there will be two Amiga Developer Team members presenting at the Amiwest Developer Conference on 11-12 October.

Our newest developer, Mark Ritter is best known for the excellent Workbench Explorer. Since joining our development team, he has been working on new gadgets and classes for the next major update of the Enhancer Software. He will present the new InfoData Gadget Class at the forthcoming Amiwest Dev Con and give an overview on how developers can use this useful gadget class.

Hans De Ruiter should need no introduction. He develops major parts of the Enhancer Software including the Radeon drivers and Warp3D Nova. He is embarking on new projects for the next major release. He will be presenting his A1222 based portable project.

We hope to see you there and answer your questions about the Enhancer Software and receive feedback.

Software News   New v2.9114.523 distributed.net clients for AmigaOS
Software News posted by Futaura on 14-Sep-2018 11:28:36 (1643 reads)
For those still running the distributed.net client(s), I figured it was overdue for me to announce that I built new updated v2.9114.523 clients for AmigaOS 3.x and 4.x which are now available at:

http://www.distributed.net/Download_prerelease

As some of you may know, my A1200 system is in a bit of a mess currently due to a faulty motherboard, so I am still unable to update the WarpOS and PowerUp clients, but this time I did manage to rebuild the 68k client in UAE on my AmigaOne. First update to the 68k client for over 7 years!
