Nice. I've noticed that some of the system icons are not the originals, but they are very nicely redrawn with alpha channel. Who did these? Are the available for download anywhere?

Yes, the icons are available in the Glow Revolution 2 package from Lorraine Design. Their homepage used to be on www.lorraine-design.8m.net but it seems to be down at the moment.
