I thought I would try to get some advice before buying a new graphics card. The SAM 460 ex / A1-500 only has two slots: 1 pci slot and right next to it 1 pci-e slot. The A1-500 comes with a hard drive interface card in the pci slot. There are two built-in SATA connections on the motherboard, so the interface card is not strictly necessary, although I've never been able to get the SSD HD that came with the computer to work with the internal SATA connector. I found a couple of radeon 7750 cards on Amazon. One is a VisionTek card. It's low profile with 1 GB GDDR5 RAM. The other one is a big flat one. It's a XFX AMD Radeon 7750 with 1GB GDDR5 RAM. The advantage of this one is it is thin enough to fit. All the other cards I saw that fit the specifications (I suppose they're newer) take up two slots and they wouldn't fit without removing the HD interface card. So the question is, would a 7750 work okay or should I get one of the other cards and remove the HD card?
