Beat you t0lkien! :)
Zero drama APU. Saw the new version when I started wayfarer and just updated it. A thing of beauty. The last version was noticeably better in many regards, especially with YouTube. I will have to use this one awhile until I report back...
Thanks to Jaca for all his hard work! If anyone deserves a donation, he is the guy... Last edited by Matt3k on 20-Nov-2025 at 04:27 PM. Last edited by Matt3k on 20-Nov-2025 at 04:26 PM. Last edited by Matt3k on 20-Nov-2025 at 04:20 PM.

Best Amiga web browser |
MorphOS doesn't have the legal right to use AmigaOS(TM), just as SteamOS can run Windows games, and SteamOS doesn't call itself Windows.
MorphOS Wayfarer 11 doesn't run on AmigaOS 4.1 FE nor AmigaOS 3.x. LOL_________________

Yes, you are right. We all know It in 2026. But I am not sure MorphOS needs any amigaos sticker anyway. |

| Wayfarer 11.50
This is the first time an Amiga-compatible 32-bit big-endian system has had a browser with a speculative JIT (*). This tier offers a typical speed improvement of 6x on most websites and up to 11x in Kraken benchmarks. Also enabled is the YARR regular expression JIT, which significantly improves load times on websites that rely heavily on regex. WebSocket Extensions support fixes various web services. This release also brings improvements to the garbage collector, memory footprint, and scroll handling.
Wayfarer now comes in two variants: the JIT version requires systems with at least 1 GB of RAM (2 GB recommended).
Ported LLINT and baseline-JIT from Odyssey-JIT by Mark Olsen Ported Data Flow Graph JIT compiler (2nd tier JIT) to PowerPC. DFG usually results in a speed improvement of 5-6x vs non-JIT Wayfarer and up to 11x in Kraken 1.1 and 4x in ARES-6 Enabled some FTL JIT optimizations Ported YARR (regular expressions) JIT to PowerPC Implemented WebSocket extensions support Fixed countless endianness bugs, including a few affecting C_LOOP Fine-tuned the garbage collector Added an internal arena allocator to reduce memory fragmentation Introduced various memory and performance optimizations. Removed disk-based caches entirely Improved scroller handling

You beat me once again!
This version is noticeably faster and made a big difference in productivity. Jaca is amazing and this product has evolved more than any MorphOS program. Although Papiosaur means to give him a run for his money.. that is another topic... . |

Beat you! :)
Wayfarer 11.6 with limited WebAssembly support out now! WebAssembly comes with its own BBQ JIT.
This version also fixes WhatsApp, Telegram and bassoontracker.
While WASM is now supported, it's limited by the OS - threading and memory interfaces are unavailable since both rely on paged RAM. |

Any information/deadline about when those modern OS features will be supported? |
