openssl3.library - June 2025 release for MorphOS 3.19
A new version of MorphOS OpenSSL3 library has been released. This version includes fixes for two minor security vulnerabilities: CVE-2024-9143 and CVE-2024-13176. More importantly, it adds functionality enabling support for QUIC protocol, allowing applications to implement the latest version of the hypertext transfer protocol (i.e. HTTP/3).

While neither the vulnerabilities fixed, nor the new features added are absolutely necessary, you can install this version of openssl3.library to benefit from the improvements already with MorphOS 3.19: Download

To install it, copy the file to MOSSYS:Libs and reboot.

Brilliant to see such a great browser for MorphOS. Amazing hard work and dedication by the team.

Hopefully may also see developments of improved browsers for 68K (esp if the power of pistorm can be leveraged) and PPC OS4 start to surface because Wayfarer is setting the bar high for the competition.

Thanks as well, funny enough I use Iris and PolyOrga and other native applications more than Wayfarer these days, as my work depends on them. They are also very mature solutions at this point. It would be nice if other offered more software including a browser but the disparity from the OS and native apps has gotten pretty large over the last 5 years of pretty dedicated coding and updating the OS and the all the Apps. 3.20 might add more standard apps with a base install I suspect as well. I still enjoy my classics every now and then, but they can't do much really at the end of the day sadly.
