Agreed, anything that is of interest to our readers is of interest to us. Many people still have AmigaOS versions that are older than 3.9 and therefore will be of great interest to them._________________ SAM 460 with 2GB or RAM, 1000GB HD, 4 port SATA, DVDRW drive and Radeon HD 4650 GFX card. |

No?
;)
(Personally I don't mind at all. Good luck! I'm just amused and wondering where all those "pay for a banner already!" type of comments that usually appear as soon as some products are even mentioned or discussed, without price lists and direct exhortations to buy anything, have gone.)

I don't think anyone here minds a bit of publicity for total amiga magazine, mainly because its done on a NON profit basis, no one gets paid, no one makes money or gets a bonus.
Its a labour of Love, By Amiga users for Amiga users.
We are trying to do something positive for the community.

| Hi @sicky
I didn't take the survey:
I bought TA issue #13 around the time the A1 was delivered - April 2003. All the yak of ADSL wasn't on topic for my region on the world. The price was too high, the topics out of sync for me. Hope that explains things better.

I have several copies of TAM (I guess 2 of them I bought from you directly) and it's surely a great magazine, like the German mag Amiga Future. Subscribing has been on my to-do list for far too long and I have just placed an order at AmigaKit. Keep up the great work guys! |

I'll second that. If I could subscribe to a PDF version, I would mainly for cutting out the mailing time. How is the AROS coverage? _________________

I haven't read issue 13, that's an unlucky number..
Maybe you like the newer issues better, you can download and check out some of them as PDFs.

| @Mikey_C I really enjoy the magazine and I think I'm on my second year now. Well worth the money for non-profit niche magazine made by volunteers for the community.
TAM and the volunteers behind it definately deserve a

The price of the magazine? How were the topics out of sync? The topics in Total Amiga are as up to date as they can be for a quarterly publication! Please explain what you mean, we need feedback to evaluate how we are doing!_________________ SAM 460 with 2GB or RAM, 1000GB HD, 4 port SATA, DVDRW drive and Radeon HD 4650 GFX card. |

I have a standing subscription at GGS Data since issue 22. Maybe cheaper to subscribe directly from you? I pay about 85 SKR per issue including postage.
Just ordered the 1-20 archive CD for support even though most of them are downloadable. Probably will back order issue 21 aswell to have a complete set.
Keep up the good work.

Same here, I always take it with me when I have to wait in some lobby like doctor, dentist, auto service, etc. I hold the mag up so the front page can be seen by others waiting. _________________ Moxee AmigaOne X1000 AmigaOne XE G4 I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong. |

| I'm a subscriber, but I'm not sure when it runs out... and it sounds like I'm not the only one who doesn't know either! How about a reminder email after the subscription has expired?

So just because one article in one issue was no interest to you, you decide not to buy the magazine. If everyone thought like that no one would ever buy any magazines at all !
You can't expect every article in every magazine to always be of direct interest. Of course as things change some articles that did not grab your attention first time round may do later.
The ADSL one wasn't of interest to me either at the time it was first printed as we could not get ADSL in most parts of the UK then. That "uninteresting" article became invaluable later when ADSL did eventually arrive. Even though written for classic Amigas I managed to get my A1 online via a router straight away.
Over all I like TA better than any of the more commercial magazines that used to be available as it is written by people that are enthusiastic about the subject rather than a journalist having to fill in space once a month
Of course the main advantage is TA is that it IS still available.
Bill.

We have actually started to do that (on top of the printed renewal notice which we include with the last magazine). The reminder e-mails for people whose subscription ran out with issue 24 will be sent when issue 25 is published.
If you'd like to know the status of your own sub, just p-mail or e-mail me your name and address and I'll check for you.
Thanks
