@Rudei

I don't take sarcastic comments on how I should please Elbox very well, no.

Anyway, if they ever release the Dragon and if is isn't as slow as I think it is, they will get a public apology from me.

@Donar

Damn.. that A1200 would sell as water in the desert!

What a dream with an A1200 like that with modern specs, massproduced and shipped with AOS4.

Basically, in a nutshell, it's an A1200 modified to house a laptop CD-drive, 060 accelerator,3.5" harddisks and some bits and bobs to make good use of it. It's nicely finished in two-tone paint (antrasite top, black bottom). It's one of those showcases showing what can be done with a Dremel multitool and spray-paint

Is this product ever going to see the light of day? If so, when?

@ferrels

It'll be released at the same time as the SharkPPC, the MPEG decoder drivers, the IDE drivers, etc.

@thread

Oddly, Elbox does have an NDA with some people you know.

Personally I think that stands for "never deliver anything".

@Trixie

That's what I feared. I know Elbox demoed this hardware running OS 3.1/3.9 back in 2006. So what caused the development delay? Was the demo a farce? Or was it real and legal and/or financial problems halted development?

@ferrels

All those questions would not have to be asked had Elbox generally been a little more open about delays, cancellations, etc. They do not understand that their current attitude is doing them more damage than good.

That is where someone from Amigaworld staff step on scene and ask ElboX about Shark PPC, Dragon Coldfire, MPEG decoder drivers, the IDE drivers, Sirion drivers plans for this and next year.
How meny Mediators they sell.... etc etc

One nice interview. there is only 6 interviews in futers of this site! Yet no interview - with Elbox, company with many affairs but still on amiga market and suppoting it! Strange for me.

And then ACube, Hyperion , Genesi, Indiviual comp. Natami team...

@Akiko

I think that most of people share our opinion.
Trick is to animate someone from Amigaworld and from Elbox to do that.

Maybe someone should start a thread called "The dragon has gone back to sleep again."
