Yes, I am interested in that link too because the only page I can find only says that the pre-ordering will start "soon". If that is the site TrevorDick refers to it must be collecting some information internally that ordinary visitors can't access. Like how many people who visits the site.

There was a problem, though, as the registering form does not seem to accept accented characters. I got first this error message:

Error registering.
Please enter a valid last name.

I think I know what my name is, though...;) Either the A-Eon's page is already in the 'Brexit' mode or then this is a sample of English humour ?!-)

Anyway, I had to create a 'barbarous' version of my name to get my registration accepted. Quelle honte...

The hardware config is one thing but I'd like to know what OS4 drivers will be available. Is there a Gigabit ethernet driver? We still don't have a driver for the X1000 internal ethernet. There are only 2 SATA ports which will be used up by one hard-disk & DVDROM. Will there be SATA card drivers for external backup drives? I don't see any mention of motherboard audio so presumably an audio card (& driver) would be required. Will we need ethernet card, graphics card, sound card, SATA card etc. for normal OS4 operation? I don't think there is enough OS4 specific information (not what works in Linux) to make an intelligent purchase decision.

The hardware description states: "The Cyrus Plus board will also support the P5040 when it becomes commercially available in greater volume." Does that mean there is a plugin CPU that can be replaced or a trade-in option or that you would need to buy a completely new board?

Wow exciting stuff! Difficult choice though when there are Skylake Macbook Pros about to be announced by Apple Choice between a practical slightly over priced machine or heavily over priced hobby machine that isn't portable and can't run Deluxe Paint as well as a 4000T? Tough sell to me I'm afraid. Waiting to be impressed when I see one running.

I expressed my interest too, but I could specify that I am only interested in the P5040 version, not on the P5020!

I don't get it, what's the point of expressing interest if we don't even have an idea of the price for just the motherboard or a base system ? I bet many if not most are interested but will only make the final decision once the details are known.
