Ok, it seems I cannot edit my profile with IBrowse (cannot save the changed data). Same problem with AWeb OS4. Works ok on Netscape here at work. Can this be fixed so that it works with Amiga browsers?_________________ "Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others." (Groucho Marx) |

I squashed that bug yesterday, so it must be loading an old page from your browser cache. So, delete your browser caches and try again. Its not a browser specific bug.
Ive checked IBrowse and AWeb just now and they work fine.

Dave.

Seems so, the pictures are hosted on an external demon server. If the author wants to get these fixed then can he/she send me the images at davep@happybiscuit.com and Ill get the article sorted out and the images hosted on aw.net.
Cheers
Dave. |

| When you have posted something in a thread you no longer get the page selection links at the bottom of the apge beneeth the posts, only the top of the page above the posts. Update: a bit of investigating shows this is cuased by the "post_id" GET variable Last edited by digitaldisaster on 06-Jan-2005 at 12:57 AM.

The posting software apparently no longer supports the extended character set, things like typesetter quotes (??) and em-dashes(?) now come up as question marks instead of as the character that was typed in. On my screen, while I am typing the post, they come up correctly, but when the post is actually put onto the forum page these characters show up as question marks.
[EDIT]: I should also say that, should I go back to edit the text, the extended characters have been converted to those question marks instead of what I typed in. [/EDIT] Last edited by Billsey on 09-Feb-2005 at 01:10 PM.

There is a forum URL-quoting bug...
The website does automaticly turn URLs into hyperlinks... if the URL is the last "word" of a quote, is the "end quote" going to get part of the hyperlink, so the hyperlink is not working and the quote is unfinished... and this is giving problems with the layout of the forum as this is an unfinished table. _________________ Best regards, hnl_dk - Henning Nielsen Lund [Denmark]

Lemme guess, your using AWeb right? Doesn't work with AWeb yet.
Use IBrowse to upload and switch back to AWeb, and you should use JPG, because i don't know if PNG or any other format than JPG is allowed? Last edited by Raziel on 27-Apr-2005 at 07:56 AM.

Oh
Well, try with a Jpeg file, "Mime Exception" sounds like the file format is not supported. Remembering back when i tried with AWeb i couldn't specify the file as JPEG and though get that error. IBrowse let me specify the file as JPEG and it worked... |

I see some animated atvars, so IMHO gif is allowed. If yes, what's the problem with PNG? |

I'm out, sorry, not so much into browsers. I think i can remember an old thread where another Mozilla user had the same problems, but i wouldn't nail me on that.
Do you have another free browser to check with, maybe Opera? Firefox? |
