No, they look same colour to me.

@

The X stands for UNIX ( or X11 ) so it might be a PPC Linux hosted AOS4, that could run on every PPC Linux box ( Mac-G5, IBM 970, Sony PS4 ) and gets its multiprocessor support by using the Linux kernel. Maybe with X11 client or server, you know Workbench in an X11 window.

Now after the Sam440 market has saturated it would be a perfect time for AOS4 to be made available for other PPC platforms.

Speculating about AOS4 and MAP is 100% fun

@ChrisH

they look a different colour to me too. the letters are more red/less orange but it may be unintentional and just a screen calibration issue, we shall see.

@olegil

>If you had paid attention you would have known it has been confimed that this is a >NEW page RELATED to Hyperion set to be updated sometime later TODAY.

ok, then i wait for later today.

But is still strange wy the registration expired on 25.12.2010

If there is something big in planing, wy is the time of the page not longer done ?

registering cost some money and when you register the page for 4 years instead of 1 year, and do extend register 4 times its cheaper to register once for 4 years

But i find not out when this Page is register.

Maybe somebody know how this can find out ?

@bernd_afa

It could be that the site was registered with the only purpose of announcement, or PR stuff.

I registered one domain some time ago and the default was to pay for 1 year.

@bernd_afa
A lot of people just have the domain registration extended automatically. Some places you can save a little if you pay years in advance but I think it's peanuts for a business.

Hyperion to be reborn as A-eon? Argh... Need more hints!

@BillE

Hmm.. anagrams..

OK, let's take all the letters we have at the moment..

a eon, x, edf, cpu, om

now let's make that into a phrase...

Exec Mod Of Pun

So what they've done is they've modified exec so it's some kind of crazy joke now :p

I certainly miss playing some of our games... I liked Freespace a lot, and Shogo... ah, those were the days...
