"Available now", or "imminent" ? That's two different things...

@Leo
m3x from Acube confirmed discs were being pressed a few days ago, so it's a matter of days (probably in order to reach dealers and so on).

@Hyperion
Fantastic, makes me wanna buy a loaded 604 based 4000 just to show Blender on classic to an Atarian cousin here

CyberStorm PPC has integrated SCSI (supported by OS4). However, SCSI on Blizzard603e+ is still not supported.

@Leo

We will be advertising the product on our webstore in about 9 days time for end-users

We are currently inviting dealers to contact us to place their orders for the product at the moment and we will send them out stock.

Good work OS4 team, no time to rest we need USB2 support, Audio on Sam460 and X1000 befor the end of the year would be nice. Just saying

me?! i think you have me confused with someone else. i only found the platform last year, and have thoroughly enjoyed it ever since.

Sorry, I must be mistaken then. All I remember now is that it was someone on the east coast.

I always wanted one of those PPC cards when they first came out, but they were out of my price range. When I could afford one I got an AmigaOne instead. Now I am waiting for the X1000. Anyway, I am happy for this release for all those who can use it.

Well done but who cares for the old junk?

I think that it's far more important that Hyperion Entertainment shows flexibility and the capability to support different hardware - for the benefit that in the future other PPC hardware could be supported easier, faster and even better.

@KingKong

Believe it or not this proves that even 603/604 processors are target.
Yes, Efika, MacMinis and X1000 as well as finalization of OS 4.1 for SAM
and 4.1.3 update would be a bit better news, but this doesn`t make this one.

Also, it is a direct bridge between Classics and NGs.

"it is a direct bridge between Classics and NGs"

+1

It's also a diving board which invite to lean on NG hardware.

I believe the best thing for well equipped classics will be the tons of OS4 specific software they will finally have access to (and even if you had 4.0 there are improvements and 4.1 exclusive software) great way to spark some life to the old ladies...

These are both very understanding comments!

But don't you mean: learn instead of lean?
