Hi All,

I recently found UHCtools on Aminet and wanted to give the authors a big shoutout. First, there is a "SynergyClient". This allows users of MorphOS, Linux, MacOS, and Windows to use a single keyboard and mouse across multiple computers and screens.

UHCtools also has a large number of helper technologies like WHD search/download/extract. Along with WHD there are tools for AmiNet, OS4 Depot, MorphOS Storage, Aros, and scene files.

Toss in another couple dozen more tools and helper scripts and you have a hell of a package.

Anyone who has bunch of diverse systems should look in to this.

Best part is UHCtools supports OS4, MorphOS, Aros, and 3.X.

Keep up the great work!

@tekmage

Thank you! :) It really warms our hearts to hear that someone is using the utilities and scripts we have put lots and lots of hours into! We're constantly doing fixes and updates so don't forget to run uhcupdate every now and then :)

I quickly installed and set up that client (and server on windows).

It does work, but unfortunately i would need it the other way round.
My Amiga should be the server, as all other hardware are slaves.

The PC is not running all the time, so...nice, but...

@tekmage

At that, MorphOS comes with a dedicated Synergy server and client

@fx

You are most welcome indeed. I noticed a few of the TCP#? commands are not working correctly for OS4. Does one of the scripts send bug reports?

Cheers,

We don't have any support-forum (yet) so for now it's fine if you could just provide some information of what's the problem with the TCP#?-commands here and we'll look into it!

As much information as possible as you can give us helps :)
