@g01df1sh

I asked him, he still loves the Amiga, but there are other reasons - you could ask Jimmy himselves.

It's always sad when something ends, and in this case it was the Generation Amiga.

If you want fresh news about the Amiga, try Vamped Amiga or search for @vamped_amiga in the Telegram application.

Hope you like it.

What the hell is Telegram? I shouldn't have to download another 'program' in order to view a website

Tell me again how French is easy to understand never having spoken it/read it before?
@amyren
Yeah it is. I enjoyed a.g. it felt to me what was promised in the mid 90s a a full multimedia experience and what the net was promising. I will miss it.For me, it was what web pages should have looked like.

Very sad to see this one go. I only discovered this month-two ago and was looking how could have i not known about it before since its postings looked simply great. it simply made Amiga look so much better just by existing.

But I guess part of the reason why it is on hold at least for now, is the same reason what made it great. That there were really loads of posts and they all looked so good with images attached to the topics etc. But it takes a lot of time and effort to do such thing, so I can see if he suddenly needs more time to something else, this would be the logical thing to throw out as a first thing, since it probably took huge amount of time daily to keep it updated.

I also very much liked the title "generation amiga" it felt like this could be something and it felt like that name had some meaning etc. If this just had existed already end of 90s or early 2000, this would surely be part of our collective great Amiga memories. Now it havent got to where it really would have deserved to get.

If you who made generation amiga read this, then Thank You!, my journey with you was very short, ended almost as it started, but it was still a great journey, despite that it didnt take long.

Hope you revive it one day, since this really impressed me right from beginning when i saw it.
