@kas1e

Ok, i missed GlSnoop and AmigaAMP and SDL2 (probably the most important thing for end users), my fault. So situation seems to be similar. It may be even better for AmigaOS4 in the future as i'm going to release some of my software for AmigaOS4.1 :)

MUI is gui standard on Amiga.
It is one and only Amiga gui library from good old times that is not ancient and was widely used.
AROS on x86 is crap because zune is worth nothing crap.
Yes I know on AROS 86k it is possible to replace zune with MUI.

@ppcamiga1

What nonsense, MUI has never been the standard GUI for AmigaOS, the standard GUI is ReAction, as has already been pointed out to you. You think if you repeat a lie enough times it will become true?

@Minuous

wow now you are already fighting amongst each other?
actually the matter why it being discussed here at all is that whether zune is compatible with mui has no actual relevance to whether aros is compatible to ks/wb 1.x-3.x. its simply another comparison.

Is there any reason at all to talk about aros or morphos in a thread about amigaos and the os4 kernel in a forum for amiga?

Bgui was never popular.
Gadtools was too outdated and even Commodore planned to replace it with something better.
Reaction was introduced in Amiga Os 3.5 in 1999 and was not widely used before Amiga Os 4.0.
MUI was only decent gui toolkit on Amiga in good old times and de facto gui starndard on Amiga.

THINGS HAVE COME TO A PRETTY PASS
OUR ROMANCE IS GROWING FLAT,
FOR YOU LIKE THIS AND THE OTHER
WHILE I GO FOR THIS AND THAT,

GOODNESS KNOWS WHAT THE END WILL BE
OH I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'M AT
IT LOOKS AS IF WE TWO WILL NEVER BE ONE
SOMETHING MUST BE DONE:

YOU SAY EITHER AND I SAY EITHER,
YOU SAY NEITHER AND I SAY NEITHER
EITHER, EITHER NEITHER, NEITHER
LET'S CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF.

YOU LIKE POTATO AND I LIKE POTAHTO
YOU LIKE TOMATO AND I LIKE TOMAHTO
POTATO, POTAHTO, TOMATO, TOMAHTO.
LET'S CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF

BUT OH, IF WE CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF
THEN WE MUST PART
AND OH, IF WE EVER PART, THEN THAT MIGHT BREAK MY HEART

SO IF YOU LIKE PYJAMAS AND I LIKE PYJAHMAS,
I'LL WEAR PYJAMAS AND GIVE UP PYAJAHMAS
FOR WE KNOW WE NEED EACH OTHER SO WE
BETTER CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF
LET'S CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF.

YOU SAY LAUGHTER AND I SAY LARFTER
YOU SAY AFTER AND I SAY ARFTER
LAUGHTER, LARFTER AFTER ARFTER
LET'S CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF,

YOU LIKE VANILLA AND I LIKE VANELLA
YOU SASPIRALLA, AND I SASPIRELLA
VANILLA VANELLA CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY
LET'S CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF

BUT OH IF WE CALL THE WHOLE THING OF THEN WE MUST PART
AND OH, IF WE EVER PART, THEN THAT MIGHT BREAK MY HEART

SO IF YOU GO FOR OYSTERS AND I GO FOR ERSTERS
I'LL ORDER OYSTERS AND CANCEL THE ERSTERS
FOR WE KNOW WE NEED EACH OTHER SO WE
BETTER CALL THE CALLING OFF OFF,
LET'S CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF.

I SAY FATHER, AND YOU SAY PATER,
I SAW MOTHER AND YOU SAY MATER
PATER, MATER UNCLE, AUNTIE LET'S CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF.

I LIKE BANANAS AND YOU LIKE BANAHNAHS
I SAY HAVANA AND I GET HAVAHNAH
BANANAS, BANAHNAHS HAVANA, HAVAHNAH
GO YOUR WAY, I'LL GO MINE

SO IF I GO FOR SCALLOPS AND YOU GO FOR LOBSTERS,
SO ALL RIGHT NO CONTEST WE'LL ORDER LOBSTER
FOR WE KNOW WE NEED EACH OTHER SO WE
BETTER CALL THE CALLING OFF OFF,
LET'S CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF.

@MEGA_RJ_MICAL

I expect Amiga Ireland this weekend will have an update from execsg team, if that's your point, heh.

@MEGA_RJ_MICAL

I had a dream tonight,
I was walking in the Andes
in my undies
amongs amigos,
no bandidos,
and there it is a Lama,
so smelly,
perfect,
does it come from Tibet?
A rumble in my belly.

So I woke up got out of bed,
no Lamas in my Pyajahmas,
good morning world,
Amigaworld!

In hurry all so blurry
I clicked on a thread, auch so bad!

ExecSG, I need some tea,
then I read... oh hat's not bad, my fried RJ like a DJ made a rhyme, oh so fine!

And on I read, on the toilet, my dear poet, with some Moet your nice poem please don't blow it! Oh so beautiful, is your poem shines like chrome or a palindrome!
It read so fast, what was it? Was it a car or a cat I saw? on dna and no, it was MEGA. A man, a plan, a canal, Panama!
So fast, and it was gone.

All alone again I was, but I had a big laughter and a breakfast thereafter when I read, my dear poet, your poem. That's how the story goes.

Thanks and happy birthday to you too!!

@number6

Friend number6,

I have no point. I have no more points. I am all, all out of points.

But we need to do something, about this information vortex, this neverending colorful parade of freaks.

So, let's laugh about it. Let's sing and dance and swing by the chandelier with a blade in one hand and a torch in the other!

My friend,
my dearest and treasured friend number6,
the time has come for a change of pace.

No more documents! No more waiting for someone to sell us a driver. A DRIVER!!
No more selling our souls for hardware born unsupported and wrapped into false promises.

No more old fat scammers selling us overpriced shovels and telling us to dig our graves. And selling us A DRIVER for the shovel!

No more.
