It's things like this, my friends and companions, that make me wish to return to a younger age and join a sociology major!

@DiscreetFX

Stop calling it Covid 19. The proper term is CCP Virus.

@Rob

Point taken, but... COVID-19 is the name of the disease the virus causes, not the virus itself, which is SARS-CoV-2.

@All

In crises like this not just coders suffering, its everyone. My guess is people are be extra careful where they spend money this days.

My advice be support coder that have patron accounts, and ask Amiga coders if they are willing to accept handouts, there lots of coders with paypal accounts.

Friend NutsAboutAmiga, consider this:

Amiga Coders make 0 money from coding for this cold corpse of a platform... in normal times! It follows that, in this time of crisis when even normal, sane people are making 0 money, Amiga Coders will make NEGATIVE money!

Think about it: for each line of code, cash disappears from their bank account. They call a function, and VOOSH a banknote vanishes from their pockets. It's a dreadful state of affairs.

It is hence logical that the time has come for us to purchase exquisite clothing items decorated with muscular armed women in bikini drawn by an "artist" who is oh so undoubtely aware of this sale happening, so that our good friend DiscreetFX can receive the proceedings and oh so certainly share them with the many amiga coders that will rush to claim their stake as per his excellent website's instructions.

QUICK, TO THE PAYPAL BUTTON!

Signed and Sealed in the finest of waxes,
MEGA RJ MICAL

This t-shirt with this sexist logo are thinking for the puritans and feminists. They see it and with anger they forget of COVID-19.

Some people make some money on the Hollywood software platform.

C/C++ programs normally don’t make money as they limited to 1 of 10 Amiga operating systems platforms / and software platforms, MorphOS, AmigaOS PPC, AROS 680x0, AROS x86, AROS ARM, PowerUp, WarpUP, AmigaOS 680x0, Arexx, and other script languages.

Competing with pirate software, open/free software and public domain.

Normally its hobby for most, sure it does not pay for electrical bill.

The stuff worth doing is not what user wishes but that’s just how it goes.

@hUMUNGUs

We are supporting any coders in need that contact us. So far no one has contacted us and no masks or T- Shirts have sold so maybe this campaign is a bust?

@NutsAboutAmiga

Great suggestion to support coders on their Patreon accounts.

@ Templario

We do ship worldwide but shipping is only free in the USA. It will be an extra cost depending on what country you’re in.

@ROB

Nearly every company in the world refers to it as Covid-19 including mine and my wife's and everyone else I know.

Get over yourself there is nothing wrong with Covid-19 but thanks for trying to look important, much appreciated!

Only people I have heard using CCP Virus are conspiracy cranks.

This sounds truly dreadful. I hope Amiga coders have something to offset this "income".

What else but a generous share of the bountiful proceedings of DiscreeFX's initiative?

@outlawal2

The CCP's inaction and lies allowed this to spread out in Wuhan and then accross the world. I think it's better to give the virus a label that tags it to them.
