a comment within the excellent HTML code of the page*, encoded with ROT13, appears to say, in Latin:

"Ut unus fiat ex pluribus"
(One made from what used to be many)

My Latin skills are almost entirely gone, but that should mean: "May one be made from many". I'm pointing this out because the meaning is slightly different, i.e. it's a wish or a command, not something that already happened.

Friend Saimo,

well said. I stand corrected, and I concur with your translation.
Who, after all, concocted a latin name for their own game? ;)

If Cloanto own the rights to all those logo's and trademarks - and the official amiga.com homepage says:

Amiga Corporation

Then Cloanto probably will change their name now/soon right?

@FairBoy

And who are you?

What are your achievements?

You signed to AW just for trolling?
Could you be, please, more fair and show positive attitude (since your avatar is "Fair"boy)

This would be very appreciated.

Thank you

@Hondo

ok. I'll try one last time...

It is C-A Acquisition Corporation undergoing the name change, a name which Mike has intended to change for a very long time.

@number6

It seems strange to set up a corporation in order to aquire another corporation. Looks like a front to me. It's been this way since the Amiga Inc days with things like one company setup in Delaware or somewhere to seperate it from Washington or where ever it was from. I'm going from memory here.

@Hondo

This may help establish the point as well:

some direct links to TM

I have seen no mention of change in status.

@Hypex

might be of interest to you on this topic

There may be other postings about C-A Acquisition Corporation in the above linked thread worth a look, but basically the C-A case was suspended for reasons "similar" to what you express.

case summary and document links

Teh excitement! (or should I say excrement)

I believe there is a further encoded message buried in the page source in the form of the image size width="433" height="400"

What could it mean the numbers 433 400?
wait 433+400=833...an eight and two threes.....an 8 could be formed by putting together the two threes if one were mirrored like so Ɛ3=8

8! What could such a digit represent? An 8 bit Amiga!

@AmigaBlitter
I stronly asume that you'll never get the irony by yourself, therefore let me explain it to you:
so far your post (let's ignore Hondos followup) was your only one and the only one which was completely off topic here and also contained an unprovoked personal attack towards another commentator who was perfectly on topic (happended to be me).
Yes, that makes you a troll.
But because I'm a polite person I'll quickly answer your questions before I'm done with you:
who I am and whatsoever is not of your business and, most important, not of any interest to this thread.
Yes, my nick is "Fair"- and not "Fan"-boy which is why in the context of this thread you won't hear something even more positive from me than this fair statement and this very fair handling of the trifle that is you, of course.

OK great, but who cares?

I don't see how the name of a website that hasn't been of value for years is in any way useful to the community at large and can't see that it will affect anything worthwhile at this point.

So again do we care? And if so please tell me why as I can't figure it out!

@outlawal2

Yeah it is useful as the most relevant website we currently have to tie the community together (other than this hallowed ground ) is:

http://blog.a-eon.biz/

It's hardly the snappiest website is it? Amiga.org seems dead and AmigaWorld.net is very quiet. Perhaps Cloanto should have gifted the domain to the English Amiga Board as the last bastion of activity outside of social media?

@FairBoy

Fairboy, i'm sorry if my post offended you. Nothing personal here. Just looking at someone that joined 8 June and talks with sarcasm about a company's facts (that I have known very well since many years, as well as people behind it) well, this makes me a little suspicious. There are some fake account here and there.
But again, just want to invite you to have a positive attitude. I can assure you that there still a lot more to see other than the essential images and encrypted phrases on the website

P.S.
if you come in Rome i invite you for dinner so we can have a delicious Italian trifle

Friend AmigaBlitter,

that's a very intelligent assumption indeed!
To think that, having FairBoy joined the forum on the 8th of June, he was also born that day!

And how could he know that company for oh so many years as you do, if he is a mere newborn! Crying in his cradle. Being breastfed.

Here, have an IQ test coupon on me, my friend ; - )

Lol, you are indeed a personality here.

What i mean is that sometimes peoples get registered only to troll. It's already happened in the past... many times.

Nothing personal, as i said.

P.S.
Is the coupon available? If you already attended at the test sessions, please, give me some hint...

The video linked at the bottom of page one explains the situation fairly well. The audio is terrible, but it has subtitles.
