Hi all,
Can someone please recommend a PS/2 keyboard I can use for the CD-32?
Much appreciated,

@Punkyclown

Do you have a riser with a keyboard adapter now or a PS/2 adapter for the the AUX port?

Pretty much any membrane keyboard should work just as well as most Amiga keyboards. I'd recommend using a keyboard with full height keycaps over anything with laptop style or similar keys. Don't bother with so called ergonomic keyboards or any other gimmick features such as multimedia keys.

If you have some spare A1200 keys lying around you could try hunting down a vintage Mitsumi AT KPQ keyboard such as this one. You'll need a AT DIN to PS/2 mini DIN adapter but they are dirt cheap and you can swap the windows keys for A1200 A keys.

Edit.

Later Mitsumi PS/2 keyboards have a revised key switch and don't accept A1200 key caps.

@Punkyclown

I guess functionally it is a bit annoying with the Eyetech adapter that I use but I've heard the SunRace keyboard works quite well with the Terrible Fire cards and it's a perfect colour match for the CD32!

This is mine with a modification to stick the Fn key down to get it to work normally with my adapter (the NumLock doesn't seem to be mapped as expected for the AT Protocol my kit expects):

Hey Guys,

Just want you to know, I could not find The keyboard you suggested. So I purchased
an Old/New HP PS/2 keyboard ($20) and it is working great.

Thanks again

Brad Hansen
