| Hi,
I have both an IDE and SATA SIL card for my MicroA1. Can someone refresh my memory on how to set Boot to boot from them directly. I made a mistake when upgrading to OS4.1 Update 3 and now am not able to get past uboot at all. All I get is slb_v2 not found during the booting from CD. _________________ µA1-C/750FX@800Mhz/OS4.1 FE up#1 A4000/CSPPC 060-233/146Mb/CVPPC /OS3.9 A3000/CSPPC 060/233/64MB/Prometheus w/ Voodoo3/ OS3.9 A3000/PIV, A3000T/PIV |

| Well, while I did not figure out how to boot from the Sill3114 card yet, I did get things running again. Seems my CD-ROM drive needed to be replace and now OS4 is installing as I type this. _________________ µA1-C/750FX@800Mhz/OS4.1 FE up#1 A4000/CSPPC 060-233/146Mb/CVPPC /OS3.9 A3000/CSPPC 060/233/64MB/Prometheus w/ Voodoo3/ OS3.9 A3000/PIV, A3000T/PIV |

Over the years, I have never been able to get my micro to boot from various SATA SiL cards that I have. I understood that it wasn't possible due to the uboot version on the micros. If you can remember how you did it, please let me know. |
