The video makes Amiga users look like a bunch of die hard fanatics. Too bad we don't work together more instead of apart diverging into some of the same compatibility and support problems as Linux. At least most Amiga users like to keep things simple so we don't have the complexity problem mentioned, other than fat PPC, that SLAB allocator in AmigaOS 4 and all the registers bolted on the Apollo core that nobody uses. With all the simple, we still can't make hardware fast and cheap enough to be competitive though. Maybe that's why he says OSs die and never return. It's really the users and business leaders who get old and outdated in their thinking.

I find it funny to hear what people outside the community thinks of us, i think anyone who left the Amiga scene in 1995/96 would be kinda of amazed that we’re still going and still getting products / updates for our Amiga’s. Thanks for the vid.
