Hopefully it will be released in 2022. Official website still says second quarter of 2021 though.

It is sad that hardware for AmigaOS 4 has been so difficult to get hold of during the last years, except for the very expensive X5000. Even the second-hand market seems to have dried up over the last year or two.

Personally I've lost interest in the A1222 / Tabor, but hope all of those who pre-ordered the computer will get it as soon as possible.

It also says "further official updates to this project will be made here," but there are no further updates at this time. One would think that information presented at Amiwest would be posted, at least. I wonder if the official site has been abandoned.

Considering what kind of lead times manufacturers have atm. And that A1222 was still on testing and manufacturer chosen at time of Amiwest changes are between slim and none that it will be out next year.

The question of When do I stop throwing good money after bad? is one that most C-suite people and financiers will have faced during their careers. The longer the career, the more times this question will pop up.

Irrespective of what may have been said or implied, at or during AmiWest 2021, the reality is that this question would've been considered by Trevor prior to that, and I would expect that the very question is front of his mind as he evaluates 2022.

For all those anticipating and waiting for the A1222, I sincerely hope that you are all able to get one in 2022. I really do.

I stopped being a fan of PPC/Power ISA in general, and as a future solution for Amiga, years before A-Eon was formed. I guess, how much worse could it be to throw one more on the pile.

As for me, I'll go for some palačinke. A more common crêpe-like pan-fried batter thing in the Balkans.

Between slim and none? You're probably right though I hope the 'Early Adopter' folk get theirs at least! Shame it's been so badly delayed but it's the first time all the onboard sound/Ethernet and graphics chip have been supported with drivers prior to an A-EON hardware launch! AmigaOS or System 54 might also be out of beta on launch day! Crazy
