I suggest searching "google imagefx" to see the problem. Note that Google will try to change the search term to just "image" - you will need to force the issue!

In short, Google has released ImageFX as part of it's AI tools.

A few years ago, I searched for ImageFX, finding that there was make-up software using the same name. My guess is that Nova Design never trademarked the title, so anyone can use it for their software. Either that, or Nova Design and current ImageFX owner A-Eon don't care to challenge bigger companies, especially Google.

ImageFX was trademarked by Nova Design in the 90's but it appears to be expired now.
