Ah, spewing, I can't get it to work on Real Player, WinAmp, WinMedia, nor in iTunes , nor in MPlayer, JavaMedia Player etc.

Gonna try on the A1 now though.

It seems corrupt alright. :/
I tried Songplayer and mpega. Neither could make sense of it. Songplayer just refused to load it and mpega spat out alot of garbled sounds. Kinda sounded like rats having a brawl. :)

Actually, though I couldn't make it this year, at times last year's Amiwest sounded quite like rats having a brawl, so maybe the file's accurate at that....

I cant play it too, I've tried UltraPlayer, Winamp, and Media Player, I even tried to open it in SoundForge 6

Seems it is not an MP3 file, but one intended to be streamed by shoutcast, so the data is there, just not playable as a standalone MP3 file.

I also tried it with windows media player and it came up with a message saying although it has an mp3 extension it is not an mp3 file.

ahh feck! Never trust a macintosh laptop to do the job of a trusty amiga, seems its not recorded the stream correctly, rather just dumped the file to disk... Sorry all.

And to think I didnt get to bed until 5:30 to record the speach, and its now 11:30 and im up again...

Ive worked out a way to play back the shoutcast. Dont download the file, just enter the url directly into winamp, and it should play it.

At least ive got Amplifier streaming it back fine.

Can't get it to play here with AmigaAmp, AMPlifier or WinAmp. Streamer looks like it might work, but it doesn't seem to like OS4.

I streamed it back through amplifier and recorded it to HDD, im reuploading it now, It'll be up in proper mp3 format in approx 30 minutes time.

yeah when i went to bed at 5:30 this morning i left the original banquet.mp3 uploading, but when i got up at 10 i found id lost connection to the server half way through the upload, so I reuploaded it.

I then found out the problem, fixed it and uploaded it again under a different name
