Arghhhh, i just put it there to get some swedish test-feedback before
sending the source back to Steffen Häeusser (spelling) to let him make
the release for os4depot.net.

Anyway as the damage is done, please go ahead and test.

works good, sound and controls too but why does warpsnes force one to use diffrent control systems for some games?

an example:

Donkey kong ... normal arrows and X+C +R+T
Axelay ... Keypad + 3 on the keypad to shoot , X+C etc doesnt work nor arrows.

anyone?

some docs would be nice too as i deletd them long ago.

Could one make the gui to support customized controlls too?

great job thanx to all who worked on this and the earlier betas.

@Toaksie

Hmm, as i see it, some games choose controller-1 (arrows+x+c+s+d+r+t)
and some games choose controller-2 (arrows on keypad +end+page down+home+page up)

Could it be because of different games from USA / Europe / Asia?

Yes documentation is lacking.

However, Steffen is the man with the SNES knowledge here, so i pass it on to him.

Well, setting the controls in the gui should be possible, i just don' t know reaction that good
yet.

@Mr Return
Thanks and, yes, sound is there, (that was the primary reason i worked on WarpSNES).

@Jahc,
Wait for next release from Steffen & Me.
(Satisfaction guaranteed)

@Ikir
Great. Played it alot when making my military services. Fascinating
game to say the least.

I *cough* (tor)rented *cough* around 450 games to test it. And almost
everything works (except for some special japanese game)

Mickey mania was cool, also earthworm jim and ofcourse flashback
and another world. Not to mention the donkeys and marios.

@emeck
Yeah, i like bubbles, look forward for an update.

I will second that. And it's great to see more and more "development results" for AOS4 !

WELL DONE ! And carry on...

Ok just 2 questions:

1 - WarpSnes is equal to what version of Snes ? 1.29, the last 1.42 ?
2 - Can i use it on my classic Amiga or this is only an OS4 exe ?

Thanks

@samo79
1 - 1.42
2 - OS4 only sofar, but if i remove the define for the OS4-reaction gui, it should
compile for OS3.x too

It was perfectly playable on my CSPPC when using a 256x256 screenmode as indicated in the docs. It did however need at least a 15 bit screenmode for trasparency to work. Sound however was always bad on my system even when I told it to use the prelude

To that end, I had to use the PC emulators since they were a heck of a lot faster and with working sound.
