Sorry I'm not aware of any set of unit/automated regression tests for Poseidon.
EDIT: BTW, if you are planning doing the port back to big endian, I think looking through commit history would be helpful. There were quite a few changes connected with endianess - majority of them were done using AROS portable macros, but you can never be sure for 100% of code. ;) Last edited by deadwood on 27-Aug-2009 at 05:31 PM.

They will not have to do the entire stack, just driver classes.
That's part of the point of making it opensource, now anyone can expand on Poseidon.
So the bad blood between C and E now affects the users less now. _________________ A posting a day keeps the sanity away...

  | Great news!
  So a couple of questions....
  A) How long before this makes it to OS4.1?
  B) Will this software fully enable USB 2.0 on SAM? |

  | Hello,
  1. A bounty for founding a motivated programmer for making device for AONE/SAM/.... in case 68k version run directly on PPC AOS4.x.
  OR
  2. A bounty for founding a motivated programmer for making all in native PPC code for AONE/SAM/.... in case 68k version not run directly on PPC AOS4.x.
Remember the source is available and free but not the AOS4.x programmer. I have doubt that we can have one for porting poseidon only for the fun....
NOTE: maybe I haven't understand all about the bounty. sorry if my explanation previously is wrong.
For sure, that will be a pleasure for me to donated to a programmer, the best is to donate to chris H directly but I'm not sure at all he would like to port to AOS4 poseidon ???? Last edited by Mrodfr on 28-Aug-2009 at 06:19 AM.

  | I'd like to hear Rigo's comments on how Poseidon compares to the latest (internal) version of OS4.1's USB stack. Apart from USB2 support, would there be much benefit now?
OTOH, one unified USB stack on all AmigaOS implementations would allow easy sharing of USB drivers, which would surely be a great advantage. As would having a robust & heavily tested USB stack for OS4. _________________ Author of the PortablE programming language. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue...

  | If it gets ported to OS4.1.. can it be distributed with the OS? or would people have to download it in future? Thats the only problem I see.. |

  | Poseidon 3.8 already works under AOS4. I have it running on my A1200. Don't know about later versions of Poseidon. Presumably there isn't much difference other than extra drivers? _________________ If your nose runs and your feet smell, you're upside down.
