Will we have a next Sam with CPU fast of 1 GHZ or more? and this first step is sell the current stock?

Surely they would develop, test and announce a new model first, before clearing the previous model.

No, I think the Sam-Flex is here to stay. It's a Sam with proper expansion capabilities.

Think I'll have to get one, just in case the X-1000 takes a while longer. Besides, you can't have too many Amigas.

Wasn't there a comment by ACube at the beginning of A-EON's promotion of the X1000 that they may have some other hardware by the end of the year if there were enough SAM440 sales leading up to it, or something along those lines of needing to continue have SAM440 sales during rest of this year? If they are talking about running out of stock in March, that choice of wording could lead one to believe that this is indeed the end of the line. The sale of one merchant's original SAM440 at heavily reduced pricing and other merchants reducing their pricing of their SAM440 flex stock does show there is a coordinated effort to clear stock out. With the limited experience I do have with ACube via TeamAROS, they came across as pretty decent people. Pretty decent people would warned their distributors of EOL so they wouldn't get caught holding the bag as ACube went into stock elimination themselves.

The wording maybe poor do to translation from Italian into English which is creating a misunderstanding of their news item. One could say that as an alternative to WiiNinja (and mine) opinion of what is happening. However, I think your being overly protective and thereby shutting down users ability to express their own opinion if they agree with WiiNinja. I would have thought that if ACube was not going to eliminate their stock of SAM440 flex, they would have clearly clarified on AWN shortly after WiiNinja's reply. Maybe it's just me, when I use to post news items about TeamAROS, I would continually monitor the replies for the first few hours of it being posted for clarifications if questions were raised because of my wording. YMMV.

Tempting, but I will wait for the the final price and plans for the X1000, sorry acube, but if its out of my price range then you can maybe expect another customer, if the stock last.

Did you register here just to troll?
No one said anything about them going out of business. The X1000 is aimed at the high end market while the current Sam lineup is aimed at the more low end/low power consumption side. The price difference between the X1000 and Sam will be rather big so there should still be potential customers.

I myself could never afford the X1000 and would rather buy a Sam if i didnt own one already.
