was wondering if there's a 'how to' to boot up AROS along with OS4.1 and Linux-Debian on my Sam440 using the new slbv2 that came with Update 1. I had problems with parthenope dual booting OS4.1 and Debian but everything is fine with the slbv2

@ klx300r :

True that.

I dont want to muck up my os4.1 update 1 or linuc debian boot ups just to have the functified version of AROS to run.

Id rather have AROS running in conjunction with my Amiga OS and Linux Distro.

Cheers

P.S. Hope its easier than the first AROS that came out for sam440ep, as I never managed to even get it to load into AROS via the cd/dvd rom drive.

Nice!

Next:
1) tutorial for creating AROS & AOS4 multiboot setup
2) enable MP on AROS
3) build AOS4 sandbox for AROS, so that I do not need to reboot SAM to run AOS4 SW

btw. did this support USB2 speeds?

Anyone got x1000 for AROS porting yet?

download the SAM AROS iso " sam440-ppc-boot-iso"

burn to CD and boot as a liveCD to test.

Cheers,

+1

then peg2 would be the ultimate amiga system which can run all amiga flavours - aos4, aros, morphos and aos3.x via emulation:)

Cool! It looks like that space I was reserving on my HD for Linux may go to AROS instead.
