I got the update e-mail before I checked on this site.

Does it finally support .mkv (which is nowadays one of the most common video container formats), couldn't find it in the list of new features, and last time I checked (which was long ago), it was still missing?

One question: I notice the avcodec.library (linked to OS4Depot) is now 3.5 years old. Is there any plan on updating this to the latest libavcodec(?) to perhaps include more codes, bugfixes etc?

Yes. Some work has been done and a bounty will be made soon. Stay tuned !

I originally purchased the full version way back in 2007. I wouldn't mind paying again for the next significant release and I'm sure that goes for others.

I gave the demo version a try and it played most I threw at it.
However, when I gave it an .mp4 it chewed on it for a while and then choked, that is it hung.

Would you like to have it for analysis?
