| It's good to have an alternative suite of picture datatypes, but with WarpDT I'm just fine. |

| Why do I get the feeling there is more going on behind the scenes than they are letting on to. _________________ A1200 ACA1232 128MB Indivison MkIICr Elbox empty Power Tower RPi3 Emulating C64 ZX Atari PS BBC Wii with Amiga emulation Vampire v4 SA

| In times when i test it for classic amiga (it was a1200 with bpcc), warpDT datatypes was always better and faster than AK-Datatypes. Their prefs was cleaner, and things always works as expected, while with AK-Datatypes there was some issues.
In other words, no big interest. If only it will be futher developed and will be better than warpDT, but then, what there can be better ?:) It's already do what should do. _________________ Join us to improve dopus5! zerohero's mirror of os4/os3 crosscompiler suites

| One annoyance with "ak software" is that they typically rely on wizard.library from StormC, Haage&Partner. The akjfif package comes with way too many "variants" of jpeg datatype descriptors, easier to just have one that covers them all. I wonder if SView was "on the table" as well, that's a piece of software that despite being rather non-intuitive to use, still is a very powerful. _________________ B5D6A1D019D5D45BCC56F4782AC220D8B3E2A6CC

It is fine that the AK-Datatypes are developed, but I agree, is it priority ? Datatypes for the Amiga are everywhere and included in almost every Amiga-OS / Amiga-NG-OS.
@Amigakit Any talks about Superview 5 ? https://www.amigafuture.de/app.php/kb/viewarticle?a=3052
Also from AK. |

| I welcome this, however I use WarpDT and are perfectly happy with them.
What I would really really like to see is a Visualbuilder IDE, that would make development a lot easier. _________________

| Spending money to buy long-forgotten code written for a dead processor architecture, to bring development back to life, in order to get money from pointless enhancements, while open source alternatives have been available for years.
Only Amiga makes it possible. |
