@redfox

If you've still not got it working, I think I got it to work by copying over the cd:sys folder straight onto the dh0: folder then booting from CD which then booted then formated the dh0 Partion before installing, I think it was reading something off the original hard drive, I'd guess the TCP setting or something, possibly.

I'm not quite sure how I got it to work to be honest.

Finally got this installed, and I'd like to say a big thanks to everyone involved, as the Upd1 feels like an improvement in every area.

The only downside is that now I've got to go through all my folders updating all the icons!

Thanks for all the hard work!

Tried to connect my LG KM900 Arena phone to use masstorage but wont show any partition in the workbench. Nothing in USB Inspector.

Tried to copy a dir with 20 jpeg pictures to 2 USB sticks. One 4gb and the other 8gb. Both showed corrupted filenames after the copy. Wasnt this to be fixed in the update ?

Update ...

AmigaOS 4.1 Update 1 is now stable on my MicroA1-C after I disabled the rear USB ports.

No booting problems since I disabled the rear USB ports.

Although the new system seems very fast and stable now, I will hold off on the dancing bananas until I have a chance to use my new system some more. So far OWB 3.23 works just fine.

Did anybody mention this from the Hyperion Website so far?

If anybody doubted the A1X1000 isn't supported by Hyperion, I think this should be kind of a official statement, wouldn't it?

When you copied cd:sys to your hard-drive and rebooted, you loaded the new kickstart files from the hard-drive, and then booted from the CD. That's why it worked. It would have been faster if you had told UBoot to boot directly from the CD instead.

IMHO, UBoot is letting down the overall system. Amiga OS 4.1 update 1 is great; UBoot remains fiddly and unintuitive to use. You're probably not the only one who forgot to tell UBoot to boot from CD instead of the hard-drive. Ideally, UBoot would automatically try the CD-ROM drive first.

Hans
