Sorry for the website trouble. It seems that "long awaited" wasn't just a buzzword here, right now I am hardly able to log into the machine via remote shell. We're working on fixing the issue. Please have a bit of patience. Thank you.

@KimmoK: I believe it auto updates the files shown in a drawer if something is copied there. Earlier you had to select update in the menu to see the newly copied files.

(EDIT: well there was some program which made it possible under 3.9 too)

Is there a way to resume the download, perhaps using IBrowse? Mostly wanting to save for-now-precious bandwidth here.

@KimmoK

Yes, although that functionality is now built-in and integrated more tightly with the system rather than being a commodity.

Cool, looking forward to downloading this one!

The server problems remind me of trying to get Glastonbury tickets at 9am on the Sunday morning that they go on sale!

I've repartitioned my disk to make space for a swap partition.

I also made the system partition JXFS and I've rebooted to make sure the changes would go through.

But when it asks if I want to format any partitions then I can only select my Work partition and not any other

Also if I skip ahead then I can only install on my Work partition...

(This being on my Micro-A1).

@Juzz
I believe the system partition must still be FFS/7 or SFS/0 use SFS/2 or JXFS for data / app partitions only.

SFS is fastest for a system patrition (IMHO)

How is this used, especially from the programmer's point of view?

Application tracking for ease of program location (AppDir: handler).

Does that mean applicantions should no longer store their paths in ENV(ARC):AppPaths/ ?

Reduced video memory consumption due to improved screen handling.

This is great! SAM440ep users with the onboard Radeon M9 will LOVE you for that!

At long last we get rid of the ugly past! Thank you.

Improved support for external USB devices.

Really appreciated! The USB support has been a real PITA so far.

Great small tweaks and updates, and not OS 4.1.1. yet?

However, I wonder either is CD availiable for SAM (SAM Beta)
replaced with OS 4.1 + with Quickfix SAM + OS 4.1 Update 1

OR

If this kind of CD could be availiable as ISO for download
for SAM users.

This seems to be final stable OS 4.1 for SAM.

THANKS!

Now, New X
