OMG! In one hour? LOL!

(To me this sounds extremely quick... being the non-technical person that I am)

I wonder if Fate of Atlantis will run better through UAE or this?

The PC version of Fate of Atlantis looks better (more colors) and IIRC it has more and better music than the Amiga version. Same with Monkey Island 2.

Wow, reading this threat is just excellent! I really look forward to play all classic 256-color adventure-games with ScummVR, based on the SDL-port Hyperion has done!

And even better, the UAE 0.8.25 is now being ported to AmigaOS4 PPC-native. I think this option is even better than the one Cloanto is going to provide..and even FrodoPPC is updated to have full support for OS4 on AmigaOne! Just excellent!

Bring it on, guys! This is just AWESOME!

I have to admit it is not yet "full" support. Sound still does not work for the
OS 4 version, and Joystick Support is currently still Classic-only (have to replace
it with some AmigaInput-Code still). But that's no major problems and will
be fixed eventually :)

>Add OS4 native versions of :

There's some more games where OS 4 versions are "in progress", not "only" Hyperion titles, BTW, there is a Beta version of Crossfire 2 for OS 4 in the meanwhile also.

And I am working on the Midnight Racing OS 4 version (working on the renderer right now) currently, though this will probably still take some time.

>Hey ! Don't you also are spending too much time porting these emu instead of help >OS4 development !!!??!??!!???

Well, most of them are plain Recompiles from already existing stuff. And of course
it is good debugging for the SDL-port.

Okay, I have to admit, sometimes in the evenings or such I need to have "something different" always, little side-projects with no commercial "pressure" :)

So is there going to be an sdl.library supplied with AmigaOS4 then as part of the default install?

Excellent.. I love the SCUMM games... especially Monkey Island and Indiana Jones, Fate of Atlantis.

If you want to test SDL, you can port Project:Starfighter and Blob Wars: Metal Blob Solid from the link below:

HOLD it right there young man. Don't move another inch.

Do I have your attention??? Do I?

Now you wouldn't be refering to a certain pink animal that lives underground that, when it gets it's hands (?) on a bazooka, has a tendancy to blow things up & ,to a certain extent, causes a mini 'Armageddon' would you?

Now that's something I have been looking forward to since the announcement.

Ehm, bugger...it just so happens that I have both games for the Classic Amiga. Now what am I supposed to do? "Pirate" software that I already own? Or buy the games a second time? Oh, bother...

Maybe I'd be better off investing in new OS4 game releases instead...so, anyone know if we have any traditional mouse-controlled adventure game in the works?

If a worm isn't an animal, what is it? Mineral? Vegetable? Software?

I think a worm is a fruit

I'd love to find out. For those that believe WormsDC was the best version, without wanting to cause a stink, you can't have played Armageddon too much then. The game is dangerous!

Oh Magic? If you can't say, saying 'I can't say' is fine

Ooh, nice SDL port. Awesome.

Now if only somebody would send me an AmigaOne (or even a Zorro network card and accelerator for my A4000, since my netcard blew up a few years back and accelerators are so expensive :) there could be an official Amiga ScummVM port hehe
