@ PR

I also tried it, and indeed it was a mess as you already pointed out.

Again, WHY would I leave it on my system, what are THE features I realy would have to have on OS4 ?

Martin

Okay, would anybody like to recommend a free hosting solution that will allow me to upload some AIAB update archives? ;)

Cheers,
James

I did, and it works like crap, like I already pointed out.
Maybe I did something wrong, or because it is a beta...

But what features should anyone with OS4 want from Scalos ?

I put it on my MorphOS1.4.5, it made it more trad Amiga like, which some may prefer, personally I wouldn't put it over OS4, but I'm thinking about putting it on my A1200 3.1. But I share the concerns re: lack of Librarys etc in the install downoad.

edited to add, but I don't wish to sound ungrateful, it's alway good to have choice, and this is a fun little thing to play with.

After "removing" Scalos from os4 I can't go to my e-mail with IB as it freezes up after login. Any ideas? Always worked before and AWeb works atm.
Other sites like this are fine.

You can iconify the workbench/scalos windows.

Wow, thats great !! NOT....

I don't think there is anything in scalos that justifies replacing OS4 WB for me.
But thats just my opinion.

(ah, well, I dont think there is anyone reading this old news item anymore... or is there )

Tried Scalos the other day and... I'm not keeping it, not this release at least.
