Thanks for the explanation. Well, if you think that such a simple and polite suggestion was a "bad comment" then any further conversation with you seems to be senseless to me Bye, bye...Last edited by AmiKit on 23-Jan-2008 at 12:24 PM. Last edited by AmiKit on 23-Jan-2008 at 12:22 PM.

| You gave it up soon, you rewrite it subsequently the your comment?:D it think what you want. Other one transpire to guffaw because of that we?
The good intention does not control his comments. Where he is top notch interferes in it. For example the wallpaper request
(Wasn't there already a wallpaper competition a few months ago? Oh wait, that was AmiKit...)
This is a polite comment according to you. An somebody else topic ? :D
Mailman was polite. 1 link and ready. But I say it, this was with more occasions.
I am asking so much, you do not use it in that manner AmigaSYS. What needs him then stupidities to sound. I do not go to play one into your news. To try to be clever. I buy your remarks with pleasure. Let it not be the aim with the other one simply entertainment.
You gave it up soon, you rewrite it subsequently the your comment?:D it think what you want. Other one transpire to guffaw because of that we? Ignore the discrediting comments only from AmigaSYS. And there is not a problem :D Last edited by Dary on 23-Jan-2008 at 12:33 PM. Last edited by Dary on 23-Jan-2008 at 12:32 PM. Last edited by Dary on 23-Jan-2008 at 12:30 PM.

Well, Dary has not released anything yet, it's just an announcement. Needless to say that PPA.pl already released the game for free some time ago - as Mailman pointed out. |
Nothing stopping you from hosting it, but AFAIK AmigaSys is providing a service, even if by hosting it only would be more then anyone here for sure.
Take your Amikit distro, I do not nag you for having updates to previously free available software, so instead of doing a 500kb download at most, I download all your package and rip it from there those packages I might be interested.
I don't nag because you're providing a service, I'm not interested in your product per se as I rely on AIBB, yet I'm thankful that you host it. There's nothing stopping anyone from going to ppa.pl and download it wether it is easy or not finding it out.
Edit: after seen that indeed it is polite and well worded, I dare you to do the same regarding all the packages which are available from Amikit and not elsewhere... Last edited by pixie on 23-Jan-2008 at 08:02 PM.

I do not understand your post... All the specially updated software included with AmiKit can be downloaded as separate archives too so you don't need to rip anything.
Anyway, it seems you missed my point here because my previous comments were not about the AmigaSYS itself. They were about Dary's inadequate reaction in his post number 6. That's it. _________________ Modern Retro Experience

I think we should stop arguing, i wrote down several times, it won't be a separate download, because a built-in game was the purpose from the beginning. Everyone can download it, google is your friend.
The post of Jmbattle is not polite, because this will be for the AmigaSYS users, if someone do not want to use it, then download from another place, and don't make remarks, i think he knew it is free, that's it. But he is entertaining the people with his anti-AmigaSYS posts. I know some guys from the Amiga community and their opinion is, that is ridiculous, what you are doing.
I've never gone to your news, but you're always horn in to the AmigaSYS topic. It wouldn't be a problem, but you should do it normally. But your purpose is not this, as i see. _________________ AmigaSYS is a fully pre-configured AmigaOS system. Support AmigaOS 3.0/3.1/3.9. I already stopped the communication with you because it was senseless and waste of time. My previous post was for pixie, not for you.Last edited by AmiKit on 23-Jan-2008 at 10:42 PM.

| Yay, AIBB!
The greatest 68k benchmarking program ever written! ;)
Actually, in all seriousness, why don't we just agree to disagree, and all calm down a little.
Let's get back to the initial topic: XTR. Did anyone here ever make their own customisations to the game?
My version used beefier, higher quality sound effects and custom music modules. These two track soundtracker mods, consisted of long, 130k samples, strung together to recreate the chorus/verse of popular chart songs from the period - I even made a Spice Girls 'Wannabe' remix for a friend...he was a big Spice Girls fan!
Gosh, this must have been what, 11 years ago?

Sorry Dary, I do not understand what you mean.
I replaced the original sound effects with higher quality customised versions, and also added new music modules, made by sampling CDs etc.

XTR is great, I spent many days playing the game. I am not sure but I remember there was some problem with original disks. When I bought the game, the disk 2 was identical to disk 3 or something like that. Or was it another game? Anyway, such a mistake must have caused some lose for the company that released it. _________________ Modern Retro Experience

| @AmiKit : My kudos to you... and my apology for speaking out my ars#... The last time I checked I think that they weren't available as separate packages, but as I stood with AIBB I'd never check it since. _________________ Indigo 3D Lounge, my second home. The Illusion of Choice | Am*ga
