| hello,
no need IMHO to transfer money to a project to netsurf. there are enough amiga users who want a css/dom browser who could give money to a browser for aos3.x or 4.x or morphos IMHO.
I myself will donate 3 digit money for aos3.x version and/or offer cubicIDE to chris_Y in case that help him to make netsurf for aos3.x. a netsurf aos3.x with javascript, css, dom.
Chris_Y: would you want cubicIDE offer by me for AOS3.x version of netsurf ??? btw, even just for aos4.x, I offer you cubicIDE as a gift, if you program with C (don't remember but pratically sure and if you don't have cubicIDE untill now _________________ BTW, what you have done for the amiga today ????

Just mailed Marcin to get an update. But Sputnik is coming, shouldn't be that far away now.
No more Sputnik talk here, this news is about NetSurf _________________

| If marcin did a lot of work on OS4 version of Sputnik, of course he has to take the money and much more. I had a feeling that he didn't even start it. He should contact more with all of us. A few screeshots would be great...
@marcin Keep up the good work. _________________ Amiga-Look.org - Beautify your Workbench

Yes I do use C, and that's a very kind offer. I have a habit of saying I'm going to do something and then either not having the time or deciding it is too much effort, but I'm going to be straight and say that I can't promise an OS3.x version of NetSurf - and it will probably have to be compiled and adapted by somebody else. Unfortunately it doesn't do DOM or Javascript yet either (this is being worked on in the main code - ie. not by me)
However, I agree that it is well suited to OS3.x and would like to see this. For me, it is too much work at this time when I have lots of things within NetSurf that need porting (even pretty basic stuff like some of the drawing routines, displaying a cursor in input boxes etc).
The code is mostly compatible with OS3.x and CubicIDE would certainly help with the task. However, it might be better to go to somebody who will have the time and more inclination to work on it.
You'll be pleased to know there is already a French translation however.

| Really great news. Lets just transfer the money from the bounty of SPutnik for OS4 to this project on behalf with the OWB. Let's motivate these two projects instead of Sputnik for OS4, which is already far behind the schedule.
I am not saying to not motivate the developer of Sputnik for the MorphOS version, but as he might not be interseted to port it to OS4, then lets just forward these money to the people that do work on these projects.

I agree

read just some post before, Syperhawk, aos4 port for sputnik is on the way !!!!!
For sure, sputnik for aos4 is actually quiet (no news) and maybe lots of people think that the port maybe never be realised but It's not true apparently.
